Aingeru Zorita was born and raised in Spain, and developed an early interest in photography while sneaking into the art school library of his hometown. He spent his time looking at the works of Diane Arbus, Wolfgang Tilmans, Richard Avedon and Andres Serrano or flipping through issues of Dazed & Confused and The Face at his local record store. After his college years in the UK he moved to New York to develop his photography as first assistant to Phil Poynter.
Aingeru currently lives and works in New York. Since his Career started he has worked for magazines such as Marie Claire, Glamour Paris, Wonderland, Metal, Hunger, The Wild, Rollacoaster and V Spain. His photography has lead brands like Nike, Babyghost, Zara, Macy’s, Jonathan Simkhai, and Warby Parker to call on his talent.
